Beth Clingenpeel, Ph.D., recently joined the faculty at Vanderbilt University Medical Center as Assistant Professor at the Center for Child Development.
Cingenpeel is the project coordinator for The National Individualizing Preschool Inclusion Project, which is a grant funded by the U.S. Department of Education for implementing inclusive practices for preschool-aged children with disabilities.
She earned her Master of Education and Educational Specialist degrees at The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va. She completed her Doctorate of Education at The University of Virginia, specializing in early education and reading acquisition. Previously, Clingenpeel was a school psychologist at Albemarle County Public Schools, then Chapel Hill–Carrboro Schools.
