Faculty Meeting
The spring Faculty Meeting at VUMC usually recaps the performance of the medical center during the past year. At this year's meeting, however, the time frame was expanded just a bit-to 16 years- to review VUMC's progress under the leadership of Dr. Roscoe R. Robinson, Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs, who is stepping down in July. During the meeting, members of Vanderbilt's leadership team outlined the medical center's remarkable growth in every facet from admissions to attraction of NIH grants during Robinson's tenure. In the photo above, Dr. John Chapman, dean of the School of Medicine, presented Robinson with a plaque commemorating his years of service to the institution.
