Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center will offer free skin cancer screenings for the community on May 7.
As with many cancers, early detection is the key to successful treatment, and recognizing changes in skin growths or the appearance of new growths is the best way to detect skin cancers early.
The screenings will be conducted in the Henry-Joyce Cancer Clinic, main floor of the The Vanderbilt Clinic (TVC). Parking is available in the TVC garage at the corner of Pierce and 22nd avenues. No appointment is needed.
Call 343-0300 for more information.
The screenings are a joint initiative of Vanderbilt-Ingram, the Nashville Dermatology Society, and Baptist Hospital, which will offer free screenings as well.
