Funds from Community Giving Campaign available
The Vanderbilt Community Giving Campaign office is accepting applications for the undesignated funds retained by Vanderbilt from this year's campaign.
Campus-based organizations that offer direct social services to the Nashville community are invited to request funds for the current year. An outline of the program, including the intended use of the requested funds, must be accompany the request. A budget that reflects the source and amounts of all revenues of the program also must be included.
Criteria for consideration will include the following: Does the program provide a direct service? To what degree are Vanderbilt students, faculty and/or staff involved?
Requests must be made in writing and should be sent to the Internal Campaigns Office, Box 7500, Station B.
The deadline for requests is 5 p.m. March 26. Please call 343-8759 for applications, questions and comments.
Applications will be reviewed and allocations determined by April 15, with funds to be distributed in late April. Last year, grants totaling $56,446 were made to 32 Vanderbilt programs.
