Compliance to hand-washing protocols is on the rise.

The annual head and neck cancer free screening day will be held next Friday, April 21, in cooperation with the Yul Brynner Head and Neck Cancer Foundation.
The event will be held from 9a.m.-3p.m. in the Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery area of the Bill Wilkerson Center, located in Medical Center East's South Tower, and the Nashville Veterans Administration Hospital.
The screening will involve looking for signs of cancer in the mouth, tongue, larynx and areas of the throat.
