Human Resource Services has announced that, effective Sept. 1, for all staff positions that require education beyond a high school diploma, HR will verify education prior to the employee’s starting date.
The screening provides assurance that the education listed on the candidate resume and application is valid. The move complies with the recommendations of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
As a partner in this process, hiring managers will need to communicate their final candidate selections to the HR recruiter for education verification. The recruiter will verify the information and provide an update within 24 hours. For more information, contact Bridgette Willette at 343-5479.
