Jenny Faenza, 17, talks to videographer Keith Jones of WSMV Channel 4 about being unable to attend her Springfield High School graduation because she is hospitalized at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. Faenza, who has pulmonary hypertension, is class salutatorian and didn’t want to miss out on addressing her schoolmates, so Child Life Services arranged to videotape her speech, complete with white cap and gown. Her address was aired during the school’s graduation on May 25.
