Key named registrar for School of Nursing
Logan Key has been named registrar for the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing.
In this position, he will be responsible for maintaining academic records and managing registration for the school's 800-plus student body.
He will retain his current recruitment responsibilities for M.S.N. acute care nurse practitioner students and Ph.D. students.
“Logan understands the intricacies of our curriculum, including the multiple education entry-points, and his strong interpersonal skills allow him to communicate effectively with faculty, staff and students,” said Paddy Peerman, M.S.N., R.N. assistant dean for Enrollment Management.
“His interest and skills in educational technology will be an asset as the University moves to fully implement a new students records system.”
Key also knows what it's like to be a Vanderbilt University student, having earned his master's degree in Education from the Peabody College last May. He joined VUSN in 2007 as assistant director of Admissions, a position that expanded to launch the School's successful Doctor of Nursing Practice program.
Prior to that, Key worked at the University of Montevallo in Alabama as an assistant director, and started his academic career as an admissions counselor at the University of North Alabama.
