A total of $1,141,638 was raised during this year's Children's Miracle Network telethon held at the new Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. The telethon was broadcast live on WTVF NewsChannel 5 on Saturday night and Sunday. Telethon director for VCH Development Rosalie Boyd said this year is the first time the telethon has topped $1 million for a 12-month fund-raising period.
