Masys joins leadership committee of American College of Informatics
Daniel Masys, M.D., professor and chair of Vanderbilt's Department of Biomedical Informatics, is the new president-elect of the American College of Medical Informatics (ACMI).
The ACMI is a college of elected fellows from the United States and abroad who have made significant and sustained contributions to the field of medical informatics.
Masys, also chief academic officer of The Informatics Center at Vanderbilt, is filling a vacancy on the executive committee and will serve just over one year.
It marks the beginning of his cycle on the executive committee, where he will serve as president-elect, president, and past-president.
