Meharry-Vanderbilt Alliance relocates to Charlotte Avenue
The Meharry-Vanderbilt Alliance recently relocated its offices to 1919 Charlotte Avenue from the Crystal Terrace building on West End Avenue.
“We moved to be in a location that would allow us a little better community access and to serve both partners in the Alliance better,” said Jim Lawson, deputy director of the alliance and executive director of the alliance foundation.
“Being co-located with some of Meharry’s clinical activities, its practice plan group in particular, sent a strong message to the community,” he said. “It helped us emphasize that our role is to support Meharry and the community.
“It also will help change the perception that we are just another department at Vanderbilt,” Lawson said.
Although the address has changed, phone and fax numbers for MVA remain the same for the nine staff members.
