Two flatbed trucks recently delivered a prominent addition to the new tower at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt: two 2,000-pound, 12-foot-tall signs bearing the hospital’s paper dolls symbol were hoisted atop the new building in late August. The aluminum and fabric signs, made locally by Signcraft Incorporated, now illuminate the night sky and will be joined by two other identical signs in the coming months.
