The Nurses for Newborns program will have stocked shelves this summer, thanks to the hard work of several Community Health students from the School of Nursing. They have been setting up donation stations outside local grocery stores encouraging shoppers to make a special purchase of baby items — like diapers, formula, baby wipes and more. Suzie Csorna, one of the students coordinating the collection drives, said the community has been very generous. The students will be at the Kroger on Edmonson Pike on Saturday, June 18 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. From left are VUSN students Beth Dixon, Ashlie Pullen, Suzie Csorna, Rebekah Pairsh and Elizabeth Hale.
