Partners in Health campaign heating up
With just a few weeks remaining until the June 30 deadline, the Partners In Health giving campaign is nearing its 2011 goal of 50.01 percent faculty participation.
As of May 16, 782 faculty members — nearly 32 percent — have participated in the campaign, giving more than $1.6 million. An additional 444 donors are needed to reach the participation goal.
Five departments have surpassed the participation goal:
• Emergency Medicine;
• Hearing and Speech Sciences;
• Medical Education & Administration;
• Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences; and
• Neurological Surgery
All funds donated to Partners In Health stay within the Medical Center, and donors may direct funds toward the areas they are most passionate about.
