Kristen Pardue, seated, describes her community project, part of Vanderbilt Medical Center's Dietetic Internship Program, to Susan Sandlin, director of West End Methodist Weekday School. Pardue traveled to Haiti to help open a nutrition program at Visitation Hospital. The Dietetic Internship Program is a 44-week post-baccalaureate course that puts 16 interns through clinical and community-focused rotations.
