Nashville-area children and their families converged on Vanderbilt's Alumni Lawn on April 18 for the Healthy Head Start Spring Health Fair.
The free event included games, nutritious food, prizes and information from more than 50 community organizations – all focused on helping children adopt a healthy lifestyle.
Healthy Head Start was founded by a group of Vanderbilt University students seeking to make a difference in the local community given the rise and prevalence of obesity in Nashville.
