Benjamin Byrd III, M.D., (right) director of Echocardiography and the Adult Congenital Heart Disease Program, received the 2009 American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) Meritorious Service Award in Washington, D.C., recently.
This award, presented by ASE Past President, William Zoghbi, M.D., (left) recognizes Byrd for his many years of volunteer service to ASE, including serving as chair of the ASE Membership Steering Committee and the ASE Advocacy Committee.
