The VUMC Nurse Residency Program, designed to help new nurses successfully transition from nursing school to professional practice, welcomed its Winter 2011 Cohort this week.
The 95 incoming nurse residents represent 54 nursing schools and are from 33 states.
For the next year, these individuals will work within a specific track in pediatrics, adult critical care, adult medicine, adult surgery or psychiatry.
