Vanderbilt's Iota Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing, inducted more than 100 nursing students in a special ceremony earlier this week at the Nashville Marriott at Vanderbilt.
Guest speaker Jana Lauderdale, Ph.D., R.N., assistant dean of Cultural Diversity at VUSN, addressed the new members on “Cultural Diversity: Issues in Education and Practice.”
Sigma Theta Tau is a membership organization made up of an international community of nursing leaders in scholarship, knowledge and technology, who are working to improve the health of people around the world.
