Dan Fuson, left, a Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center patient and Gilda's Club member living with advanced, metastatic prostate cancer, listens as professional Nashville singer-songwriter Tricia Walker and musician Bill Sinclair perform a song penned by Fuson himself, as part of the first ever Songs From the Heart program. The program, held last Friday night, teaches cancer patients and caregivers how to put their thoughts to paper. The finale, a special concert, gave participants like Fuson the opportunity to hear their words put to music.
