Former Vanderbilt Heart patient, Dan Brinkmann, far left, W. Barton Campbell, M.D., Lou Benedict and Noah Fienderburg serenade the physicians and nurses who helped save Brinkmann’s life in April when he suffered a heart attack while visiting Nashville. Brinkmann, who lives in Florida, Benedict and Fienderburg were in Nashville last week for the Barbershop Harmony Society 2008 International Convention and stopped by Vanderbilt Heart to show their gratitude in song. Campbell joined the group for “Down Our Way.”
