The OUR Kids Center, a non-profit organization that provides medical and psychological support for children who may be been abused, is heating up its sixth annual Soup Sunday fund-raising event.
The charity soup-tasting party will be held on Sunday, Feb. 28 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Stadium Club. This year, 35 Nashville-area restaurants will create original dishes while competing for the coveted Copper Pot prize. Guests at Soup Sunday will be able to sample the soups and vote on their favorites.
Last year's event drew approximately 1,500 people and raised more than $16,000 for OUR Kids.
Tickets to Soup Sunday, which can be purchased in advance or at the door, are $12 for adults, $7 for children or students and $30 maximum per family. Parking is free in the Stadium Club garage. For more information, call OUR Kids at 862-4217.
