VUMC has been the focus of international attention since country music legend George Jones was brought here following his Williamson County car accident last week. News organizations from around the world have called and visited to check on the condition of the man called the "Possum." Several briefings, like the one above featuring trauma surgeon Dr. Virginia Eddy (right) and Nancy Jones, the singer's wife, have been held to update the throngs of media requesting information. As of press time, Jones was listed in critical condition.
