Tailgate Party offers food, fun

Vanderbilt football supporters are invited to Tailgate 2002, a pre-game party for the first SEC game on Saturday, Sept. 28 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. at 30th Avenue South at Dudley Avenue. Vanderbilt takes on South Carolina at 6 p.m.

The party is an Employee Celebration event and free for all Vanderbilt faculty, staff and their immediate family members. A Vanderbilt ID is required to pick up tickets and gain entrance.

Free food will be provided and there will be games for kids and adults. There will also be a “Black and Gold Contest” to show off your Vanderbilt football black and gold clothing, ‘Dore prizes, and a “healthy yet fun” challenge from Health Plus. Second Harvest food bank will collect non-perishable foods. Participants are asked to bring at least one item to share with those in need.
