Staff and faculty who have served a family whose child died within the last year at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt are invited to a Time for Remembering on Sunday, May 17, at Blair School of Music's Ingram Hall.
The event honors children who have died and gives families a chance to return and visit with the people who helped care for them.
The event will start at 3 p.m. with a short ceremony. The speaker this year will be Rick Barr, M.D., director of the Division of Pediatric Critical Care. The ceremony will be followed by a reception and planting of flowers in the Children's Garden in front of Children's Hospital.
