The 2004 VUMC Annual Report and the Medical Center science magazine Lens have been selected for inclusion in the Creativity Annual, a hard bound book which features some of the best graphic design of the previous year.
The Annual Report was selected a Gold Medal Winner and Lens was named a “Creative Achievement Art + Illustration” winner. The competition to be included in the annual brought more than 7,500 entries from more than 30 countries.
Diana Duren of Corporate Design was graphic designer for both publications. The Annual Report is edited by Wayne Wood with associate editor and photographer Dana Johnson, and Lens is edited by Bill Snyder.
Both publications previously have won awards from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education. q
