Leaders of Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt and the Vanderbilt Department of Pediatrics today announced an agreement with Cookeville Regional Medical Center to provide pediatric physician services.

Rehm first pediatrician named president-elect of Society of Hospital Medicine

Kris Rehm, MD, MMHC, professor of Clinical Pediatrics and vice chair in the Department of Pediatrics, has been elected president-elect of the Society of Hospital Medicine and will be the first pediatrician to hold the post for the organization.

Two Department of Pediatrics faculty members have been named to new and expanded roles. Kris Rehm, MD, has been named vice chair of Outreach Activities. Succeeding Rehm in her role as Division Chief for Hospital Medicine is Derek Williams, MD, MPH.
