THA honors Vanderbilt staff, faculty

Six Vanderbilt University Medical Center faculty and staff were honored by the Tennessee Hospital Association (THA) at last week’s annual meeting in Nashville.

Peter Grubb, M.D., associate professor of Clinical Pediatrics, received a Meritorious Service Award for Medical Staff.

Jill Kinch, APN, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, received a Clinical Nurse of Distinction Award.

Arie Nettles, Ph.D., associate professor of Clinical Pediatrics, received a Diversity Champion Award.

William Schaffner, M.D., professor of Preventive Medicine, received a Meritorious Service Award for Medical Staff.

Mia Sharp, R.N., with Neonatal and Pediatric Transport, received a Healthcare Hero Award.

Robin Steaban, Chief Nursing Officer, Vanderbilt Hospital and Clinics, received an Executive Nurse of Distinction Award.
