Bruce Green, left, poses for a photo with Gregory Mencio, MD, chief of Pediatric Orthopaedics, at a reception celebrating Green’s recent Bike Across the USA challenge to raise funds and awareness for orthopaedics at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. Earlier this year, Green rode his bike on a 3,400-mile trip from Los Angeles to Boston, raising more than $50,000 in honor of his late father, Neil E. Green, MD, former director and chief of the Division of Pediatric Orthopaedics.
