Meeting a critical need

VUMC employees stepped up at last week’s blood drive to help address the current regional and national shortage of blood and blood products driven by the COVID-19 pandemic.

VUMC employees stepped up at last week’s blood drive to help address the current regional and national shortage of blood and blood products driven by the COVID-19 pandemic. The American Red Cross collected 35 units from more than 30 employees, which they estimate will directly help save the lives of up to 105 patients.
