Beginning Dec. 1, preliminary electrocardiograms (ECGs) for adult patients are visible in eStar. This change will help improve and simplify users’ workflows and applies to all users who view adult ECGs.
Previously, preliminary ECGs for adult patients were only visible in application(s) separate from eStar. Now, preliminary ECGs will be visible in eStar. Once the ECG has been officially read by cardiology, the preliminary image will be replaced with a final image.
Please note: ECG visibility only applies to adult patients; users should continue existing workflows for pediatric patients.
