COVID-19 boosters available near Friday’s Holiday Gift Giveaway on Nashville main campus

As COVID-19 continues to circulate and new variants arise, it is important that we all protect ourselves as completely as possible, especially as the holidays approach and more inside gatherings occur. Occupational Health encourages you to get your COVID-19 booster before the holidays, if you have not already done so.

To make getting your booster as convenient as possible before the holidays, the Occupational Health Clinic (OHC) will be offering boosters near this Friday’s Holiday Gift Giveaway on the Nashville main campus. An Occupational Health nurse will be located inside Light Hall North Lobby on Friday, Dec. 10th, from 7:45am-5pm to administer Pfizer booster doses on a walk-up basis to eligible workforce members.

You are eligible for a booster if you completed your primary Pfizer/Moderna series at least 6 months ago, or received your J&J vaccine at least 2 months ago.

Workforce members who are unable to stop by the location in Light Hall North Lobby on Friday can come to OHC any time during our hours of operation to receive a Pfizer, Moderna, or J&J booster. You can also use www.vaccines.gov to find other vaccination locations near you.

If you have already received your booster outside of OHC, you can voluntarily report it to us via the self-report REDCap (https://redcap.vanderbilt.edu/surveys/?s=PJP7RYJ4ML). Once updated in your OHC record, it will also be available in your Health & Wellness Portal at https://hwip.app.vumc.org/hwip/ohc_history.jsp.
