The Vanderbilt Kennedy Center is seeking adult participants (ages 18 to 30) for a research study investigating the effects of different noise conditions on brain activity during the Attentional Network Task.
The study aims to examine the associations between individual differences in attention abilities and the potential benefits of certain noise conditions through behavioral metrics and electrophysiological analysis.
This study will involve:
- One visit to the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center for 90 minutes
- Preliminary surveys
- Attentional Network Task (a visual task on a computer screen), wearing a soft “hair net” with sponges (to record brain activity)
Volunteers will be compensated for their time ($15/hour). For more information please contact Ali Hussain at ali.a.hussain@vanderbilt.edu or 561-962-5173.
