Faculty and staff gathered last week to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Trauma Center’s debut in its current location on the 10th floor of Vanderbilt University Hospital. The Trauma Center annually admits more than 5,000 trauma patients from Tennessee and surrounding states, as well as 650 burn patients, 2,000 surgical ICU patients, and 1,000 emergency general surgery patients.
