“The History of Black Nashville Part 1: North Nashville and the Pearl High School Story,” a panel presented by Vanderbilt University and hosted by Nashville Public Library, will be held Aug. 30 at the Nashville Public Library Conference Room, 615 Church Street.
The event will be moderated by André L. Churchwell, MD, senior advisor to the chancellor on inclusion and community outreach and Levi Watkins, Jr. M.D. Chair, professor of Medicine (Cardiology), professor of Radiology and Radiological Sciences, and professor of Biomedical Engineering.
The event will have a catered reception starting at 5:30 p.m., with the program beginning at 6:30 p.m.
