In May, VUMC will begin to automatically migrate VUMC-owned devices to Windows 11. The migration will be completed by June 2025 as Windows 10 will no longer be supported. This upgrade will enhance the quality and efficiency of VUMC devices and improve security for VUMC applications and information.
For the automated migration, other than a need to reboot the device after the migration, no action is required by the employee.
What’s Next:
- If you do not want to automatically upgrade your device due to an application becoming unsupported in Windows 11, we ask that you fill out this form.
- Contact the software publisher if you are unsure about your application risk.
- Be aware employees may have to restart their devices.
- Window 11 migration may take several minutes to update.
