As part of the New Tower construction, crews will start nighttime-only closure of the intersection of 24th Avenue and Children’s Way for electrical utility installation. This project will begin on Oct. 7 at 8 p.m. and is scheduled for completion Nov. 9.
During this time:
- Only one lane of traffic will be affected at night from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m.
- During the daytime hours and on weekends all lanes of traffic will be open through the intersection.
- There will be a steel plate covering the road after each night of work for road to open during the day.
- There will be officers on site to help direct pedestrian and vehicular traffic during active construction.
