On Saturday, Nov. 8, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Pierce Avenue will be closed from Medical Center Drive to the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt pedestrian sky bridge due to construction work in the area.
The entrance to Preston Research Building and the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital Emergency ambulance entrance will be accessible from Pierce Avenue when entering from 24th Avenue South.
The purpose of this construction work is the installation of a new A/C unit on the roof of the Children’s Hospital. Flagmen will be on site to direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
