Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt hosted children’s hospital leaders from around the country during a Children’s Hospital Association Board of Trustees meeting March 26-27.

Meg Rush, MD, MMHC, President of Monroe Carell, is a current Board of Trustees member, and she has been elected to serve as the vice chair as well as the chair of the Governance Committee for 2025. She has served on the CHA Board of Trustees since January 2023.

“It has been a true honor to take what I do every day, serving children at Monroe Carell, and to work with other leaders to advocate for the importance of children’s hospitals as well as the issues that impact children’s health,” Rush said.

During the CHA visit, Rush showcased Monroe Carell and its teams as the board gathered to discuss mission-critical issues around children’s health and well-being.

The Children’s Hospital Association is a member organization representing more than 220 children’s hospitals nationwide.
