
On Friday, Sept. 26, Vanderbilt University Medical Center will host a scientific symposium to celebrate Dan Roden, MD, an internationally recognized leader in pharmacogenomics and precision medicine, on his 75th birthday.
Roden is professor of Medicine, Pharmacology and Biomedical Informatics, holder of the Sam L. Clark MD, PhD, Chair, and Senior Vice President for Personalized Medicine. Last month, he was awarded Vanderbilt University’s most prestigious faculty honor for achievement in research, the Earl Sutherland Prize.
The symposium, which will be livestreamed on the Teams platform, will feature talks by more than 20 current and former colleagues and trainees on topics ranging from clinical pharmacology and genetics to “big data.”
