Vanderbilt Bedford Hospital has been recognized among 12 top-performing hospitals in Tennessee by Becker’s Hospital Review for outstanding nursing communication based on results from the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems survey.

This national survey captures patient feedback on their inpatient experience, which plays a key role in shaping hospital rankings.

The hospital’s nursing team earned a five-star rating, the highest possible designation, based on responses highlighting their clear communication of medical information, attentiveness to patient concerns, and thoughtful care throughout treatment.

“This recognition makes us all very proud. Patients are at the center of everything we do. We have a phenomenal team of nurses who strive to exceed expectations by making sure every patient is engaged and feels comfortable throughout the continuum of care. Hats off to Megan Martin, MSN, RN, director of Inpatient Services, and the entire nursing team,” said Angela Carter, DNP, RN, Chief Nursing Officer, Vanderbilt Bedford Hospital.
