Rascal Flatts visited with patients and families at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt on Monday. The country music artists and long-time supporters of Children’s Hospital played an acoustic set and held a meet-and-greet in Seacrest Studios and also made room visits to patients unable to attend the event.
Children’s Hospital hosted the first multicast for Seacrest Studios, allowing patients from Seacrest Studios at Boston Children’s Hospital, Children’s Hospital of Atlanta, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C., to watch the performance and ask the band questions.
This is the eleventh year that Rascal Flatts has performed for Children’s Hospital patients. The group has helped raise millions of dollars for the hospital, and the Rascal Flatts Pediatric Surgery Center was named in recognition of the trio’s long-standing involvement, which also includes an annual fundraising dinner.
