Love’s Travel Stops, a family-owned business at the forefront of the convenience store and travel center industry for half a century, has lived up to its name over the years, showing lots of “love” as a Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals® (CMN) partner since 1999.
The company’s guiding principle, “Clean Places, Friendly Faces,” resonates with its mission to give back to the communities in which it operates.
As part of its mission to be involved in the Nashville community, Love’s has had a longstanding commitment to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, raising more than $50,000 each year for children and families by selling CMN paper balloon icons at their five area locations and holding events. Team members dedicate their personal time and money to raising funds for CMN and Children’s Hospital.
The company’s continued pledge to families and children includes supporting the Growing to New Heights Campaign.
“This time of year is one we all look forward to; our family, friends and customers all come together to help our community,” said Creig Roberts, district manager. “We all know someone who has been helped by our local Children’s Hospital, and that is why you see so much passion and intensity out of our stores. Our goal is not just to complete the campaign, but to break records for kids who need our help. It’s a special month for us; one where we look back at the amazing things we accomplished and how fortunate we are to be working for a company that allows us to make a difference in our community.”
