The Master of Science in Clinical Investigation (MSCI) program is accepting applications through Feb. 28 for the Fall 2023 cohort.
The MSCI program trains investigators in the techniques and processes used in clinical and translational research. This program provides a direct, mentored experience in clinical investigation and, through didactic coursework, provides trainees with a strong foundation in study design, biostatistics with RStudio, clinical trials, and biomedical ethics.
The program typically takes five semesters (two years) to complete. Graduates successfully compete for grants such as the K01, K08, K23, K99, VA Career Development Award, R01, and major foundation grants.
Special Students, or non-degree seeking learners, may also enroll in select courses for professional development in clinical and translational research. More information is available at the MSCI (https://medschool.vanderbilt.edu/msci/) website or you may contact the program at MSCI@vanderbilt.edu.
