Experts in global health from Vanderbilt and throughout Middle Tennessee will share their experiences during a forum Feb. 27 at the Scarritt-Bennett Conference Center in Nashville.
Hosted by the Vanderbilt University Institute for Global Health, the forum will feature a keynote address by international philanthropist Eric Thurman, co-author of the 2007 book, “A Billion Bootstraps.”
Participating organizations include Blood:Water Mission, a non-profit organization founded by the members of the Franklin-based band Jars of Clay; and the Franklin-based International Leadership Development Institute, which trains leaders in business, medicine and education in developing countries.
There is a $50 registration fee to attend the conference, which will begin at 8:30 a.m.
