Vanderbilt patient care staff will get the chance to learn more about Magnet Recognition activities, the latest in simulated technology and other educational options at the Magnet Fair on March 16 and 17, from 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. in The Learning Center Ballroom.
Attendees will enjoy interactive booths that will help prepare everyone for the Magnet Recognition site visit this summer. Representatives from area colleges will be available to discuss different programs, and Vanderbilt University Human Resources personnel will be available to discuss tuition reimbursement benefits. Attendees will have the chance to “meet” Sim-Man and Sim-Baby, simulated patients used to help train physicians, nurses and other caregivers at VUMC.
