Stelian Paul Bodea-Barothi, M.D.

Stelian Paul Bodea-Barothi, M.D., joined the faculty of the Vanderbilt University Medical Center Department of Psychiatry as an assistant professor of Psychiatry in November 2003. He is also the associate director of the Vanderbilt University Addiction Center Inpatient Services and the medical director of the Middle Tennessee Treatment Center.

Prior to Vanderbilt, Bodea-Barothi was head of the Department of Psychiatry at Restigouche Health Authority, Campbellton, New Brunswick, Canada.

Bodea-Barothi received his medical degree from University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He served his residency at Vanderbilt in the Department of Psychiatry. He is a member of the Canadian Psychiatric Association, the Canadian Medical Association and the American Psychiatric Association.
