The Neonatal Follow-up Program at Vanderbilt monitors the early growth and development of infants and toddlers after they leave the NICU. During visits to the Follow-up Clinic, patients work with various providers on fine and gross motor skills, physical therapy, cognitive development, language comprehension and production and more. Patients’ therapy can include cutting with scissors, walking a straight line, using stairs and putting puzzles together.
