Two Vanderbilt University faculty have been named as SEC Academic Leadership Development Program fellows for 2016-17.

Vanderbilt School of Nursing faculty have been recognized as fellows by several professional associations.

Linda Norman, Valere Potter Menefee Professor of Nursing and dean of the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, announced faculty and staff awards during the school’s spring faculty meeting May 17.

President Barack Obama has named Vanderbilt researcher Christopher J. Lemons among the recipients of the Presidential Early Career Awards for Scientists and Engineers. It is the highest honor bestowed by the United States government on science and engineering professionals in the early stages of their independent research careers.
