Effective Dec. 2, 2019, all employees previously grandfathered into measles compliance with a record of only one MMR vaccine will need to have a second vaccine to be considered up to date.

Lori Rolando, M.D., MPH, assistant medical director of the Occupational Health Clinic and assistant professor of Clinical Medicine, has been named director of Occupational Health for Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Flulapalooza 6 will be held Tuesday, Oct. 11, and will offer staff, students and volunteers free flu shots. The event will take place in a large tent erected between Light Hall and Veteran’s Administration (VA) Hospital from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Flulapalooza is only a couple of weeks away and the deadline to submit an exemption request from receiving the influenza vaccine is quickly approaching.

Vanderbilt University and Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) will once again be offering faculty, staff, students and volunteers free flu shots at the upcoming Flulapalooza mass vaccination event.

Vanderbilt University and Medical Center (VUMC) faculty, staff, students and volunteers will once again have the opportunity to be part of a mass flu vaccination event that four years ago more than doubled the current world record for the total number of vaccinations given in an eight-hour period.
